Kick up that Cardio!

This week we have really stressed the importance of pushing through Audra's cardio plan! Audra has been doing extra walking, pushing through when it gets tough and refusing to give up! It's all about hard work and determination...if you want to lose it, you have to put in the hard work! We will slowly incorporate weight training in the near future, but for now, we are burning through a plan that includes treadmill intervals, elliptical, bikes and a whole lot of walking!

Audra is already experiencing more energy and can accomplish small tasks without getting tired as quickly! It's only week number 2 and Audra "Rock Star" Sampley has made significant progress! She is going to make this happen!!!

For those of you at home who are not sure how to "Kick up the Cardio," we are going to include her plan so you can follow along!

Way to go Audra! Keep up the GREAT work!!!

  1. Yay, Audra!!! You are doing GREAT girl! :) That's a LOT of cardio, and to me, cardio is the worst...I hate it with a passion, but I know it's good for me, and well, I feel really good when I get done!

    Another good point to make:
If you have a pet, especially a dog, as I do, exercising with your pet is one of the best ways to get your cardio in for the day! Dogs need exercise...at least 30 minutes per day. "A tired dog is a good dog"....that's my motto! I take Jesse (my Siberian Husky) for 20 minute runs every morning so that A)I get my cardio out of the way in the morning and B)I don't come home to a restless animal or torn up furniture! Literally, he sleeps alllll day after our runs....I can tell a huge difference between the Jesse that I run with in the morning and the Jesse that doesn't get enough exercise! So use your animal to your benefit (and his or hers) and get that cardio knocked out! :)
Good luck, Audra, and all you other readers!
    God bless,
    Melanie :)
